10.12.2008. ShutterBLAST's Christmas comes early!

After shooting well over 90 000 photos with the current camera body, we thought that the Canon EOS 400D needed a break. After a long and difficult reflection, we came to the conclusion that ShutterBLAST being a field-based project, buying anything else than the camera with the best, fastest, newest and more robust body on the market would not fit our needs.

 

So here it is, the brand new and ultra-fast, magnesium body EOS 50D is now in our hands. We won't get into the technical details that make this camera the best and hottest thing out there, but we can't wait to ram into the new photopit to try it out!

SLIPKNOT and supports stopped in Munich on Saturday November 29th 2008. With Espoo metallers Children of Bodom on the bill, ShutterBLAST couldn't resist the urge to get tickled with something Finnish.

ShutterBLAST joined ENSLAVED and co. at Munich Backstage on Sunday November 30th. Today we tried out some interesting new photo techniques: see if you can spot them!

 

Musicians with 2, sometimes 3 faces, light trails and swirly backgrounds... Take your time and check out how this all works... Believe it when we tell you: all these effects (except black and white) are all 'natural', no Photoshop involved!

 Finnish melodic metallers KIUAS teamed up with Greek studs FIREWIND for a tour accross Europe.

 

ShutterBLAST met them on their stop at Munich Backstage on the 25th of November.
